Merciful Fingertips: Here at Big Pulpit we have decided to donate our Sunday’s advertising revenue to support Corporal Acts of Mercy. As we know, each of us is called to do Corporal and Spiritual Acts of Mercy. On a personal basis we may already be helping charities with our own money, rolling up our sleeves to serve the poor and caring for the sick, among other things. In addition to doing all that, we can dedicate a few minutes of our Sunday to click on advertising (ads) and if enticed make a purchase. The ads in our website are clean as we work with a Catholic advertising agency. Revenue is generated each time one clicks on the ad. The statistics allow us to see how much revenue was generated on a Sunday. After withholding for taxes, Big Pulpit will donate that Sunday money to St. Vincent de Paul Society or similar quality charity. There are some accounting variables that need to be understood. The ad agency doesn’t pay the following month the revenue was generated as it has three months to collect payments. To make the process simple we will use the previous month’s data to make our monthly donation. Big Pulpit has existed for approximately 14 years. Its mission is to evangelize and defend the Doctrine of the Catholic Faith. We would be truly blessed if we could also use our platform to promote Corporal Acts of Mercy. We count on your Merciful Fingertips!
