. . .if not for a hockey game, I wouldn’t be a Legionary of Christ priest today.  As a good Minnesotan, I naturally considered hockey as divinely inspired, a sign of God’s love for us.  But it’s what happened after the game that took me by surprise & lead me to know my priestly vocation. . .

. . .St. Monica’s in Santa Monica hosts St. Monica Catholic Community Gay & Lesbian Outreach (GLO) where former member Arthur Fitzmaurice once served as the Chair of Archdiocese’s Catholic Ministry with Lesbian & Gay Persons.  At the 2015 LA Religious Education Congress hosted by Archbishop Gomez, which repeatedly features Fitzmaurice as a speaker on LGBT issues, he openly criticized “The Catechism of the Catholic Church”. . .

Alexander Santora celebrated the Parish’s “first annual gay pride Mass.”  At the beginning of Mass, Fr. Alexander Santora announced that he would offer a “special blessing” for those marching in the New York City gay “Pride” parade which took place on the same day. . .
